I serve because:
One of my best friends from high school is a Lake Michigan Academy alum. Over the years we’ve had discussions about his struggles in school before attending LMA, and I often thought about the impact LMA must have had on his life. Years later I was honored when he asked me to serve on the Board, and I now see that it’s not just his life that was changed. All of our students get the individualized attention they need and deserve, and what that does for their learning and self-esteem – and what that can mean for their futures and that of our community! – keeps me energized and excited to support Lake Michigan Academy.
