Alumni Events

Annual Alumni Celebration. Each year, the Lake Michigan Academy community gathers to celebrate the achievements of LMA students and alumni. The inaugural alumni celebration event date is tenative.
Student Mentorship Program. The LMA mentorship program connects alumni with current students to support academic, professional and social success during their time at LMA and beyond. The program includes resources that not only support the mentee, but that also develop the mentoring and leadership abilities of the mentor.
Professional and Social Networking. Building and maintaining a diverse network is an intimidating undertaking, but also important for lifelong personal and professional fulfilment. Lake Michigan Academy provides opportunity for alumni to develop relationships based around their shared experience as students with learning challenges.
Donor Stewardship. The Lake Michigan Academy mission is advanced by the support of current and future donors. The LMA Alumni Association provides a means to demonstrate the value of that support and the tremendous significance it has for lifelong success of students and graduates.
