What school districts do we work with? Allendale, Byron Center, Caledonia, Comstock Park, East Grand Rapids, Forest Hills, Greenville, Grand Rapids Public Schools, Grandville, Jenison, Kenowa Hills , Kent City, Kentwood, Rockford, Zeeland, Kent Career Technical Center, Kent Transition Center, Northview, East Kentwood, Algoma Christian, The Potter’s House, and Catholic Central to name a few. What is homeroom? Homeroom is a time for students to organize their backpacks, review homework assignments, and connect with teachers. How diverse is the student base at LMA? We have students from many ethnic backgrounds. Do you follow Michigan State Standards? Yes, we follow the Michigan Merit Curriculum. How many students are in a class? We place no more than 8 students in an elementary class. In the middle and high school classes we have no more than 10 students. Is LMA a safe environment for my child? We believe in safe minds and bodies, and make every possible effort to ensure the safety and security of our students. We are in compliance with all state mandates for fire and tornado drills. Our recently developed Emergency Response Plan and teacher training has prepared us for unexpected intrusions and situations. Students are also safe emotionally.
